“Girl, wash your face”, with Mario Badescu

“Get up, right now. Rise up from where you’ve been, scrub away the tears and the pain of yesterday, and start again… Girl, wash your face!” – Rachel Hollis

This quote is one of many uplifting lines from Rachel Hollis’s book, “Girl, Wash Your Face”. I have mentioned to y’all how obsessed I am with skin care. To feel renewed, I MUST wash my face at the beginning and end of every day. It’s a personal ritual I never miss!

I recently tried out a few new items that I would love to share with y’all!

These products were given in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. This post also contains affiliate links. My full disclosure can be found here.

Mario Badescu is a skincare line that “customizes regimens for every skin type and concern imaginable”. Below are a few of their items that I personally would recommend.

•The Enzyme Cleansing Gel is extremely refreshing and I absolutely love the scent. It contains papaya and grapefruit! I recommend starting with this to wash away impurities and follow up with this Facial Spray after. This spray leaves your skin dewy and moisturized. It’s an awesome item to bring on the go as well!

•If you plan on being outdoors, the Oil Free Moisturizer that contains SPF is a great addition. It is important for me to stay protected from the sun, so my acne scarring doesn’t get any darker.

•For breakouts, the Drying Lotion is a miracle worker. Just dab a small amount on your blemish overnight and it will dry it out.

•The Botanical Exfoliating Scrub is perfect for taking care of dead skin that builds up. After being in the heat for the majority of my vacation, I used this and the Healing & Soothing Mask. The scrub gave me a fresh start by reducing dullness and the mask helped with redness. This mask can also aid in healing acne-erupted skin.

Overall, I would highly recommend these products to others with combination skin. Each item is affordable and does exactly what it claims. If you have any questions about these products, let me know below!

  1. I also find starting the day with a clean face (and a shower) helps to energize me and set me up for the day. These products sound good quality. Thanks for sharing
